assignment 8

What got my attention was how good Hilter would talk and easy he got all Germans. That was a brilliant idea Hitler had of how to blame just one race and not all races. The thing is that back then people were more closed mined, but now were open mind. Yeah there might be new versions of Nazis like KKK and the Noe-Nazis, but like I said they are closed minded.

Assignment 10

My experince with this blog and the class has just been really great because it helps me get more open in my mind than just writing it down in a piece of paper. Also, this makes class easier, challenging, and fun because we get to see other peoples ideas and compare them with our own ideas. The way the blog system works is just fine and I think if we leave it like this it will work.

Assignment 9

The blog I chose is http://fritarita.blogspot.com/ because it is very lively. It describes a lot and everything, but the thing that really is not functioning right is that she types to much. The thing she should try to do is summarize a little more, but anything besides that is almost perfect.

Assignment 8

The character I'm chose is Shahanna because she plays an important role in this book. She is very friendly and helps Lakshmi in the brothel. Also, she is a person that is very strong because she still can have an ordinary day with out be whining everyday. The poem I chose is
Best Friends Poems
No matter what happens they will always be here because no one love you like your best friends do!

Assignment 7

The pictures I saw were very disturbing because in my mind I thought the had something better than just a shack for all. The clients just use them as something that's reusable until they get tired of the poor brothel girls. Yeah like in the book the say "A girl is like a goat. Good as long as it makes butter and milk, but when it's time to make a stew it's not worth a tear." The pictures are more clear than the ones in my mind, so the things in the book aren't very describe as much as in my mind, but the are related.

Assignment 3

The conflict of theis story is Man vs Society because men treat women like nothing like an example is in page 8"A girl is like a goat. Good as long as she gives you milk and butter. But not worth crying over when it's time to make a stew." Men in India don't value women like in the U.S. Another good example is when the women wash men's feet and drink the water they used to wash the feet in page 16.(Eww) The last reason I have is that women value men even though they are disabled the just want a man in the house like in page 8 "Ama says we are lucky we have a man at all."
